Good morning Father God. When I gave myself to you, I felt your presence. Today, something seems to be missing. Where is the excitement? The overwhelming joy?

I meant it when I said I would follow you.  Did you mean it when you said everything was fresh and new for me? It doesn’t feel fresh and new today.

Nevertheless, I choose to believe.  I know I heard you speak. Wow! You led me to Your Son and I responded. I will praise your name, even when my flesh can’t find you, because I  know you are there in my spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:  The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

John 6:44-45

44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.
